How many blog posts are you doing for blogs and what's the ideal amount to be done?

I post as much as I like. Sometimes multiple posts a day, sometimes once a week. Not much help - sorry. I have so many blogs and I like to type, type type! Unfortunately, I can't do them all everyday.

In all seriousness, I don't think there's any equation that links the amount of blogs posts to the success of said blog.

I have a massive list of sponsors which I check almost every day. If I find something worth typing about - I'll make a new post. If not, the world keeps turning.

i'm pretty good at writing, but i hate doing it. so i couldn't stay consistent even if i tried. there's no ideal frequency. even dead blogs can get traffic

I read a study that covered all blogs not just adult that said the top blogs update at least once month. I do not remember what they used to quality it as being top. I think quality is more important than quantity.

If you want explosive traffic, 4 a day without fail.

If you want a good deal, 3 to 4 a week.

If you want not a whole lot, but still "some" sales, 1 a week.

If this is just a hobby, 1 every two weeks... if you remember.

Exactly. Once I have a good ranking, I generally quit updating altogether most of them time. If you've got the rank, what's the point in risking it with different content? Probably hurts my return traffic, but I hate writing . Good SEO content takes time and effort. Hiring someone else to do it is just about always a failure waiting to happen. If I got the rankings I want on a site, I would rather put my writing effort towards gaining a new rank somewhere else.

For news rewrite blogs, I post daily. At least twice per day.

For "authority" blogs, I post once a week or so. The focus here is QUALITY and getting others to link to you as a reference.

For other types of blogs, it varies. For keyword sniping type posts, I usually have my writers write them all at once and I schedule them (via WP dashboard) to post every 3 or so days.

On my most popular blog, once a week / every two weeks. The traffic is big and steady On others, usually when I create them I do ~ 20 drafted for a whole year and then I just forget about it

The blogs on my network get updated between 1 to 4 times a month.

I update my bread and butter blog daily because it has a loyal readership that checks in that often.

All the others I do a nice batch to initially establish it and then a new one anywhere from a week to a month depending on how much organic traffic it gets.
