What would be the best CMS if you are to run an online magazine like deal that has multiple writers.

I always thought Wordpress, but looks like lots of people are using Joomla and stuff. Your thoughts ?

I use wordpress for everything. You have authors and contributors functions in wordpress and that's exactly what you need

I use Wordpress for my sites.
There are tons of plugins, themes and blogs with faqs/issues workarounds.

            Best regards

If you need more confirmation, Wordpress
I hated Joomla from day one. It's probably personal, saw some nice sites build with it, but still, my first choice for (almost) ANY site would be Wordpress

Check out textpattern, not as bloated as the other scripts and does everything you need and more.
