Anyone else get a fuck-ton of cookies when clicking on fbooksluts.com banners?

They are all over the tubes. I've been doing a few tests today seeing what happens when I click various sponsor's banners at these places, the results are shocking.

I emptied Firefox and used this:

I've never bothered checking before, I'll check every bought ad on my sites in future, I have a bad feeling about several of them...seen sales dwindle on other programs I promote directly...

I'll see what gets dropped for cookies here and report back to you. If you're worried about cookie stuffing and are investigating, be sure to rotate IPs and check on several different IPs multiple times. Most cookie stuffing operations have protections in place to prevent detection.

You should try it out for yourself Roald, it has big implications for a site (s) your size.

I'm not allowing renewals of paid ad spots from several sponsors as a result.

Why would they need to drop 2 adbrite cookies in the mix for example? As well as half a dozen I didn't see any need to be there. There were no visible adbrite ads on their site. My cookies were empty, no other pages open.

I smell dirty tricks and my instinct is usually correct.

I like the one I gave since it allows referer and useragent modification but it probably has the weakness of a single originating IP (request from their server). Best results would probably come from setting up different virgin browser installs and having different people (in different areas) try them to report what cookies are set after going to the site. Would be hard to avoid detection of any nefarious schemes using that method.

Yep. I just tried it and it redirected me to Fling.

Just tested. It is Fling for sure...another blacklisted sponsor. Wonder how those boys will like it when FB comes after them too (merely speculation).

I knew they were fling, and that's fair enough, it's the other 6 cookies in there which I'm a bit confused about.

Maybe I've been browser jacked or something....on all 3 browsers...across many programs...

Its setting Fling cookies even know you haven't been redirected to Fling. So even if you leave he got you cookied.
