Hey guys - so I am looking to liquefy most of my 'portfolio'. I've had some real ups & downs since 2002. In the past I've reached $8k a month, got a nice little visit from the feds, worked as a rep, built & sold an affiliate program and helped another one as it grew into something really special (Paper Street Cash woot).

We moved to Denver about 6 months ago and LOVE it here but the job market is SUPER competitive. Both my girl & I cannot find anything. I have decided I am willing to give up everything to stay here. There is nothing for me anywhere else & at least this beauty recharges my soul whenever I seek it out.

Contrary to the popular opinion around here, I'm not ashamed or afraid to roll up my sleeves and do honest work and so I even went to the day labor place last week as a backup plan and they don't have enough work either!

Tragically I spent 10 years and about $30k to put myself through college only to find the degree does less than jack shit for me. I'm bummed out, my savings are gone and we're struggling pretty hard right now.

I'm not optimistic I can find quality work in this industry - everyone wants aggressive affiliate marketing reps who get absolutely no respect and just jabber @ each other at shows - and frankly I am too experienced and educated for that role (no offense to the people doing it - it is HARD work if you actually do the job). I'm not looking for a 4-6 month role - I need something of substance at this point in my life. I am open to anything though if anyone has any suggestions/ contacts.

Please do not bitch about prices or post what you think you know. The reality no one admits is that the only people who truly understand domain pricing are the people who have the money to invest in domains. In other words, money talks & bullshit walks. You've all heard it before but think hard about that before you post some derogatory bullshit.

Bottom line is I'm already fucked, but I'm not looking to get one over on someone. Would like to make enough to get by a bit longer and invest in some projects in a different direction I've had on the back burner a while.

70% is factoring in the mainstream capabilities of some of the domains, the age of the domains, the 4 letter value, the 2 word value and the blog-based vale of a couple of the domains.

20% of my valuation is the 'sweat equity' portion.

10% is my personal opinion on what the domains with sites & collectively are worth

I think $20k is a safe assessment but am willing to concede if I am mistaken and am open to offers below that $20,000 mark.

In the what, month it took to put something together you didn't mention anything in relation to any policies or agreements you had.... and you only listed about 4 of them... so not really sure where this is coming from but alright.

As a buyer and also a seller of domains and sites, I think it would be a fair question for us to ask things like how much monthly, weekly, yearly the sites make etc. Most people base selling (and buying) pricing on what a site is making or has made not what it can possibly make. Just my 2cents. Also I do understand that you would not want to make these numbers public but to serious possible buyers privately.
