Is anyone using Smart Tube Pro to run a tube paysite?

The more expensive option is better.
If you're serious, spend the money on Mech Bunny. Otherwise TubeAce is pretty kick ass.

It has been answered a number of times, and the specific differences pointed out. Pros and cons from functionality, to design integration, as well as support and installs. Each has their own 'quirks'.

I might just have to e-mail Godsmack and ask him for an example. I've been sitting on my copy for a while and am finally ready to go with it, but so far the only tube paysites I have seen are Mech Bunny...

What I like about Konrad's Mech Bunny is that you can request any feature and he'll get it to you quickly without raking you over the coals.

I just had him build in a feature to sort videos by gay / straight / both and it was delivered in 24 hours.

If you want to use his script for a pay tube, he will do it for you.

It isn't, but there are many idiots that think setting up a paytube is just a few clicks away.. IT ISN'T!!! Setting up a paytube is not the same as setting up a MGP! it is MORE work and demands better KNOWLEDGE of the industry!

You should not attempt to start a tube when you lack basic skills.
Offcoz it is hard to understand Smarty (well documented) if you don't know how to code HTML, if you cant code HTML than everything is hard.
We are on the support forum every single day a few times per day, all problems get resolved.
You would not believe me when i tell you that some people demand support for stuff that has nothing to do with the inner workings of STP, they just lack basic skills and we are not here to teach them Smarty or HTML.
We made it as easy as possible including very HQ templates that our clients can use and learn from.
We get asked the same questions over and over again while the answers are just a search away.
Yes STP has many templates to tweak, but we wanted people to be able to control every aspect of their site, this involves many templates but you can customize every aspect of your site so it can be totally unique.
You don't need to tweak 120 templates if you don't need them, if you want to use all features of STP and want to have a unique looking site in every aspect than yes, 120 templates are waiting for you to be edited.
