Apologies if this is a stupid or often asked question, but what normally happens with rebills in sales of sites like this?

1. Does the seller transfer ownership of his affiliate account with the sponsor and thus transfer also the rebills to the new owner?

Or

2. Does the new owner need to make a new affiliate account and thus start from zero with all rebills staying with the seller?

I would only buy in the case of option 1 but do not know if this is normal practise or not. If it is not, what is to stop the seller selling a new site every week claiming that the stats of that original affiliate account apply each time?

A valid question in my opinion. In this specific case, I'd be happy to give my account to the new owner to make things as easy as possible. The new owner would then just have to make a few updates in the contact and payment information fields and be on his way.

Same goes for the FTP details and hosting. I'll pass all necessary data to the new owner. Hell, for a quick deal (before the end of November) I'll even include this month's revenue in the sale which is currently at $210.

Truth of the matter is I was busy on other fronts and neglected updating the site. However, a few quick fixes and tweaks and things got back to a better state. Nowadays I must focus my attention entirely on other projects (why I'm leaving the adult business) and have a fairly high risk investment coming up in December which I will help fund with the sale of this website.
