I got scammed for the first time ever on GFY, I guess I should consider myself lucky.

I contacted others that bought links from him... Out of the 10 that replied so far, 9 of them were also ripped off.. (90% were SCAMMED).
I found out he did the same exact thing to them. Many said their links were pulled within days of paying. Many complained to him and he put them back up, only to remove them later and put them back up after a 2nd complaint. Others just got refunds or disputed the purchase.
(I am not going to drag the other victims into this by mentioning their names, but I am making this thread aware to them so they can post if they want).
If you've bought from him:
1- Double check your "actual" renewal dates. (Based on my experience with him, he tends to lie about your renewal date)
2- Double check your backlinks throughout the time you paid for. (Your links might not even be there and he'll still try to collect renewal fees)
I purchased 12 links from the goofy dude to each be placed on 12 of his sites for 1 year. (144 links total) in this thread
Don't pick on me that I bought from the dude, because at that time the sites he was selling them on were actually adult sites LOL (this is before he started selling those links from dropped insurance agency sites, travel agency sites, hotels, etc.. and annoyingly hitting people up constantly)
Anywhoo.. the goofy fucker started hitting me up for the renewal fee over 80 days before they were to expire, telling me they expired. Then after he "realized" they were not expired, he kept hitting me up at different times telling me they expired trying to get the renewal fee.
The goofy phucknut hit me up again on Saturday, (21 days before they expire) and was tired of him nagging me, so thought I might renew early.
I hadn't really checked the backlinks since he first put the links up, but I gave it a check today, and guess what.. the links are not there.. checked google cache, and they weren't there the last time his sites were cached.
While it is too early to check archive.org, I checked the stats for the 12 sites I had him link to and easily concluded that he pulled the links in the middle of January 2009.
Looking at the stats for the 144 links I paid for with 12 sites that were on every one of his 12:
They received hits from him only from November 2008 until January 2009. Then from February 2009 not a single hit for the last 9 months. NOTHING!
Some sites were sending 100-150 hits a month (some 10 to 50 hits a month). Then by February it went to 0. It would be hard to believe that would happen as the links he sold are right at eye level on the index page.
There were 144 links in total, but all of a sudden there were 0 hits from February on, that is just statistically impossible.
There is simply no way that out of 144 links he has not sent a hit in the past 9 months
So I paid for 12 months and I received 3.

Trying to collect renewal fees 3 months early by lying that they were expired (and the links were not even on his site). It takes balls to collect renewals for links that do not exist and combine that with lying about the renewal date, this dude just is over the top:
Telling me "they are expired" when there is almost 3 months left, then telling me "it's 1 year now" when there is 2 months left and the fucking links were not even there!
