I've begun buying usernames at twitter, facebook, and some popular forums (not here!). I've set aside over $10k for this, spent nearly 1k so far.

Mostly interested in established accounts with high friends/followers/post count.

Depends on how many followers and the quality. If you have less than 1000 followers I wouldn't even bother, unless they are somehow fantastically well targeted. If you have just over 1000 followers and each one of them is following tens of thousands of other users or is clearly a bot that's not worth much either. I do a check of a few dozen random followers to get an idea of the quality.

I'm testing a URL shortener that pays for each redirect you send, so I don't even have to spam a product, just use regular links to interesting things.
