Many different skill sets out there. Some want to take the dive, but do not want to take the risk. I am not worried about making the goal. I did it with one clip store from example in sig. With this project, I am going to have the lucky mofo working all clip stores out there. Maximizing their return. Setting them up in case they want to launch a pay site later.

Clips vary by length of time.

I suppose you could sell them all for $5.99 if you wanted. I personally sell by time (default). If clip is 10 minutes, I charge $10.99, 7 minutes, $7.99 and so on.

Point of clarification

On the clips, I am watermarking them and compressing to DivX 720 x 480 to get you started. You will eventually learn to do this for yourself, if you do not know already. You can later encode into other formats if you like.

For all the clips I watermark, they will be shipped to you, along with the DV AVI, license, 2257 docs, and anything else on master ext. hard drive once completed, or when you are ready to step into the driver seat before 6 months.

So I will get you set up with watermark for url, compress, upload to ONE clip store. You will have other clip stores that can used as well for making money. If you want to work it simultaneously, we work out details once payment made.

On these guarantee deals (like celeb) I have some who want to just sit back and enjoy the ride for 6 months, and others who want to learn and do everything possible to be successful. I leave that choice to you.

Well typically gigs like this come out of conversations where people have contacted me on some other deal.

For example, people want content but can't afford $3000-5000+ for licensing, so they ask for the oldest content, and suggest non exclusive, and some kind of bulk price. I mull it over, and then come up with a deal.

In this one, a lot of people had contacted me on content, and my other guaranteed site offer from a few months back. They wanted to take the risk or make the investment, but were asking for something similar in foot site. They wanted to have some kind of safety net.

Or I have had a endless amount of people asking for clip store advice, or help. Even wanting me to do the marketing end for them, and splitting profits 50/50. Which I am not interested in.

I prefer working in niches I know, and have success in and can guarantee a result (sig). There is only so much in free tips or advice I am going to give to some stranger hitting me up every other day or week asking for more help. More over, even when I give them advice, what's to say they do it consistent, or right? In my offer, I show you how and why directly hands on, and that should be an incentive to keep going.

This does not even cover the deal for content alone.

So I think it over, and come up with something for those folks. Basically something I am willing to do, and set a price point. As my two part timers get more proficient every week, they take on more tasks that used to bog me down. It frees me up for new projects, or decent paying gigs for those needing some assistance while waiting on new code to get done. Listen if the content is half way decent, which I am sure it is, then there is no way you will make less then initial investment within 6 months. I understand you can't make promises and with the current economy there are no guarantee's but with an update a day then it's a pretty sure bet. I have stores that make close to that amount in six months that I have not updated in a year! Don't recommend doing that at all, I am just sayin. You know the game better then most.

Over my years with C4S I had tried a number of different techniques to see what works best. Everything from how I stagger updates, how you cut clips, drive traffic, among other tips and tricks.

The experiments are not over, but I do not offer services that I do not think I can deliver on. I know from my tutorial thread I have had a ton of people contact me privately asking for help/advise/suggestions on their clip stores. But at some point you have to start charging.

I do it in Adobe Premiere

I also watermark the clips at the time I am compressing, and cutting them from the original DV AVI. I know a number of people use, or recommend Sorenson for compression. It is a nice program if you have a nice machine, and the RAM. You can make multiple formats all in one run. Versus multiple renders later.

No EPass, PP, or alternative methods. Clips4Sale pays once a month, 7th, or business day before or after depending on when the 7th falls.
