I couldn't see that domain selling for less than $2,000. Great domain Don't let it go for cheap. (I'm a somewhat professional domain guy so I know what I'm talking about.)
I think most of us on here are domainers of some sort..the value is in the eye of the beholder but a great domain........i think you should post your offers on here to insure you do not get low balled and encourage more offers.........
Guys, just curious are you getting a comission on the sale?
I think if he was looking to make a killing he would list the domain with a broker...not post on a free discussion board. But thanks for squashing someones chance of getting a good deal. Not sure about you guys, but with the financial mess going on I am trying to spend as less as possible.

Sorry but with something as good as this domain, I'd hate to see the seller getting fucked over.

I agree with you 100% Only the buyer can really give it a value.
I am finding domain sales weak this year, especially on ebay the market is just not there...a ton of sellers but no one is buying. You will see a lot of domains being dropped this year, and they will be pissed when the market comes back that they let their names expire. Not sure if anyone purchased any .asia domains, but I noticed they are now going for $6 each at some registers...I purchased them for $25 each just a couple of months ago at godaddy.

This is bad for them but good for you. Pick up a few gems cheap, hold them a year or until the economy heals and you'll stand to make a lot. (My opinion? Get a bunch of LLLL.com. With about 3-5 years, LLL.com grew to be untouchable to the little people -- sales over $6,000-8,000 & higher)
I hear you, but it will be a while before the economy comes back...and if I want to keep all my domains I will need a night job and weekend job to pay for them. As far as the LLLL.com domains go, whenever you still have the other extensions available...means less demand. .com is still key though, as far as short names I managed to get FUKF.com, OXPX.com, OXSX.com, and 6XX9.com...and a good 5 letter....FUKCU.com
As far as websites go...a great domain name is good, but content is key, and with good content you will get traffic. At least this has been my experience. Good Luck
I would stay away from the auction sites if you have an idea what $ amount your looking for. Without realizing it you might lock your name up for 60 days. Not sure if ICAN policies have changed...I even ran into a problem with godaddy a couple of times. Also no sense on paying part of your profits to Sedo...they sucker people into their PPC parking which blows.
I would trade you a couple of hundred adult domains for it. Let me know it might take me a day or two to get a list together.
If you can sent me a list, I will look into it. Not sure if I want it though. I am more looking for a good name or 2. But if you want to take the effort with knowing this I will be pleased to look over the list.
