I don't have a problem with cocky designers because you gotta be.. Any type of creative field if you are the artist you need to be confident and stand by your work or you will be re-designing it over and over again until the client is sold on his OWN ideas..

But if you are going to talk like this you need to post work to back up your big mouth.. Nobody will ever respect you just because you told them to.. They need a reason..

Designers post amazing work everyday and are humble about it and don't demand anyone's respect or appreciation.. They just get it..
