SierraLeone.com used to host a discussion forum and had 400 to 500 visitors per day during much of 2007.

Right now, as an undeveloped domain that is monetized by PPC ads, it gets about 150 visitors per day. Many links still point to the domain and it currently has PR3.

The residual type-in traffic is cool but the investment potential is even more impressive. Over the course of this year alone, prices for comparable country domains have increased by 50% to 100%. In March, Mozambique.com sold for $82,500. This month, Zimbabwe.com sold for $130,000 and another African country domain sold for an even higher amount (exact details subject to a confidentiality agreement).

The asking price for SierraLeone.com is $150,000. The current best offer is $60,000 and we are negotiating with several potential buyers.
