Whats the best vid converting software

Right now we use a mini dv....firewire into adobe premier, then we use advanced windows media setting to convert it to wmv file. What can I do for better quality,

I don't know but here's a bump.

VideoCharge is an easy piece of software to use. You'd still have to bring it in from DV using Premiere, but you can convert into whatever format and settings you choose.
