I got listed on elephant list and didnt even submit to them...
They took there listings from al4a....which listed me a few days ago...
woo hoo more crap traffic!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just put a javascript to redirect traffic from elephantlist to your sponsor or popup hell you never asked for a listing with him and he copied your listing from somewhere.
This way your page will still be up for your al4a listing.

Elephantpenis takes listings from a couple of places. I like the idea of redirecting all the traffic =)

I do it when I post a moviegallery or make a special gallery for just one tgp, and then if somebody picks that gallery up and use it on their own its their own fault I just put in a little piece of javascript and get a lot of extra hits to my popup hell

And what if someone has more than one TGP, many do and often share submits. Would make more sense to direct it to an identical gallery on a free host if BW is a concern. Send it to pop up hell - what a fucking lame idea, I can think of much more productive things to do with unwanted traffic.

I´m only making galleries at the moment while I´m fixing some problems with my host, so instead of feeding my own sites with the traffic, I send to a page with per signup banner and blindlinks, and then popups when they try to leave, I also only redirect my traffic when I´m sure its somebody that stole a listing.
If I submit a gallery to thehun for example, I´m pretty sure the only traffic on that page should come only from thehun.
I also made a special gallery for some TGP´s by request with some specialcontent that I had, and when this is picked up by other TGP´s I´m sure they took the listing from the TGP I submitted to and then I try to make the most of that traffic
Also traffic from messageboards it goes straight to my links page.
When submitting movie galleries from paid hosting I have to watch my BW, even though that its productive for me now it could fast turn into a huge loss.

But you´re right about sending them to a freehost never thought about that, good idea, now with moviegalleries offcourse.

Susan I don´t know who pissed you off today but relax, why not tell us what you would do with this traffic instead of this negative shit you posted.

Exactly. From the surfers point of view, they have no idea if one TGP took the gallery from another one. If a certain domain name was infamous for freeloaders, then I could see sending them off to some topsites list or something.
