What are your thoughts on Al4a?

I have heard he sends a ton of traffic, but does anyone know if it converts or not?? Someone told me it does really well, just curious if you all had any first hand experience...

I have been listed on there and the traffic wasn't great. I do <u>very</u> well from galleries but couldn't get a sale here. It's free loader central.

He also seems extremely self centered by not posting free hosts. I've seem some shit hot galleries on free hosts from guys just starting up and wanting to learn but Al4 doesn't even give them a chance. Banners or no banners that isn't right. Hun. Snake. Worldsex. JJJ. Elephant List. Book-Mark. they all accept free hosts if there is a good gallery - but for Al4 they go in the trash can without review. That's fucked up.

The only reason that Al4 is so big is that he was on the scene early. It doesn't take a genius to wake up early in the morning. If he started again as a newbie tomorrow he would no doubt fail. That is where people like Hun suceed - no doubt, if Hun was to start over again tomorrow as a newbie then he would suceed no problem, he knows how to treat people.

i usually use about 5gigs on a big tgp listing like al4a or thehun

thats about 4 bucks for me...shouldnt be more than 10 bucks for anyone. so if you can make $200 and spent an hour making the gallery, you have a good deal going.

like i always say, try and build a reputation with these tgp guys...its a tough biz for them and us

ldinternet, I agree with basically everything you said. In addition I have heard from a reliable source, that the few free host galleries you may see on al4a or ampland, are actually owned by them. They Own strictly hosting, and its nothing for them to through up domain names, make it look like its a free host, and actually its 1 of their own galleries.

Doser, 200 bucks is alot to make on any site for a listing??....I would like to see this 200 dollar gallery...??

I have made over $200 off of a AL4A gallery ... but not latley... actually not in a long time... It's seems likt ethe quality of the ste is getting worse

I get most of my galleries listed there...w/o doin' ass kissing. His traffic used to convert nicely for me, but lately it has seemed to drop a bit. Maybe just the time of year...who knows...

You can't sue someone because you make a mistake. If Joe Dumbass is too lazy to check his gallery before he clicks "submit" I don't see how that makes Al4a responsible. The guy asked him to list his gallery and he did.

For the record I don't submit to Al4a. I did for a while, got listed once out of 20 submissions - the traffic was pretty good, but not worth the work. (I do everything by hand - I'd rather submit to a small TGP that lists me every time then a big one that lists me once a month)

Listed me once and not anymore since then and I gave up after 3-4 tries. Traffic is alot indeed, comes right after the hun I'd say. The one that he listed was on a domain, with some nice graphics and 20 or so pics each 40-50 kB lol. That was a year ago one of my very first galleries.

Yeah I don't know the deal with AL-4A. I used to get listed on the reg but, one week it just stoped.. I use paid hosting, good content, make clean pages and never even thought about cheating or changing my page after being listed. As much as I would like to have my galleries listed there I'm not going to e-mail the guy and give him head. Fuck it there is a ton of other TGP's out there that like my galleries so, I'll just keep working with them...

Allright ... Ask all tgp owners if their icomes are the same as 6 months ago ... They will all saw it's the half of what it was 3-4 months ago . Sponsors start shaving like hell, ccbill start refusing all transactions etc. Surfers suck more and more freeporn . In few months, tgp will pay more in bandwith than in revenue ... Why you think Nexcash and J4F made theses changes ? Cauz now traffic SUCKS ! I'd rather get 5k avs than my fucking 200k uniques tgp traffic ...
