You're damn straight Boneprone, Portland is a gorgeous large city. Especially in the spring and early summer.

If you ever make it down south...check out my little piece of heaven, Eugene. One of the prettiest mid-size cities.

Actually the Pacific Northwest has beautiful cities/towns all over the place. As you can tell I'm craving a visit lol. It seems like I always seem to go in the winter nowadays.

I'm dying for a hike in the cascades, a search for sea shells in Astoria followed by a rapid shoot down the McKenzie. Gotta get up there this summer *sigh*.

Fong Chong? I'm not a Dim Sum fan. Ever tried Golden Horse, kitty corner to Fong Chong? Very creative Chinese. For example, they use Jalapenos instead of Chinese red peppers in their Mongolian beef. I eat there or get take-out about twice a week.

Oh, Jeez. And it sounds like you've never even been in the SW quarter of town! My friend Carl (http://www.studioerotic.com) is still lost downtown, even though it's laid out with perpendicular streets.

I'm glad everyone appreciated the photos. Someday I'll do our Japanese Garden for you. The Japanese and Chinese aesthetics are as different as night and day. China is in many ways much more "Western." They enjoy the elaborate and decorative. The Japanese love simplicity and Nature.

Carl just moved here from Durango, CO. He's trying to make a go of his site, but is no expert at generating traffic. He needs help in that area. He has a partnership program, but obviously he needs well-keyed traffic or the bandwidth will kill him.

It's very fascinating to watch his shoots go down live. I watched a bodypainting session on Sunday with two models I've photographed myself. In fact, I send him most of his models! I don't think too many people get more models for less money than I do (http://www.girlsdotcom.com/booklets.htm).

Because the site hasn't taken off yet, he is actively soliciting "straight" photography work as well, and enjoying a little success.

However, I keep telling him that if he wants to make money doing photography on the Internet, he needs to do naughtier stuff. The models I send him will do open poses, use toys, and frequently masturbate for video, but he sticks with the "art nude" approach, whereas I do "art erotica."

BTW, has anyone seen my "art erotica" site? It's at http://www.afterglow-photo.com. There aren't too many art sites around that bring in over $1K a month, but this one does.
