ARS $75 DAY - Anyone pushing traffic here today?

I just finished changing out a banner on a site I have on a free host that gets about 15 search engine hits a day, lol. Also put up several ads on another site that has a few SE's a day.

I tried to go on their site to get more banners, and I couldn't even get on...think everyone is trying to get banners at the last minute?

I'm just too tired right now to change anymore...maybe tomorrow I'll do a few more.

I have that too. I've got a site that was listed on Tommy's and Greenguys, must be about 12-14 months ago.

I get a similar number of search engine traffic to that site, which is clean as hell by the way, because I built it when I was a "newborn" newbie - that is, didn't know JACK SHIT about this biz. I send all of the traffic from that site to Jim Diamond, and get around 6-10 signups per month for that site. It's been at the top of Excite for ages (for a certain fetish term, which I won't mention ), and is still there. A real money maker.

Mine was on a free host that puts that damn Pure Fuck banner on it. grrr, but since I get clicks to my sponsors daily, I just leave it and update it every so often so it doesn't get redirected.

I don't think it ever got listed anywhere because of that banner, it just gets SE. Go figure. It was one of the first ones I built too.

Don't they have a rule about switching for one day? If they do, it kind of genates the one-day special concept.

I remember what happened last time that ARS had one of these $75 days: lots of webmasters changed their banners, ARS servers could not stand up to the aditional load, surfers didn´t wait to see the tours, sign ups went DOWN.
This time, I just kept my usual banners, didn´t take time to change anything.
I still think that ARS is one of the best sponsors around. Just don´t think that these promotional days are so good as others say.
