You get what you pay for. OP isn't posting in standard English; your 500 words probably won't be, either.

I charge $150 to $200 for 500 words. Some people do think that's a big price, but plenty of others pay it. $18 is so cheap, I wouldn't expect to get 500 words of original idiomatic prose, well-written by a native speaker of English. Not a big enough price.

Oh, I know, there is no bottom to the writing market. It all boils down to fitness for purpose. My clients are convinced (and my experience bears this out to an extent) that Google isn't as impressed by cheap word salad. I don't doubt there are places where anything with keywords that doesn't trigger a duplicate content will serve. But something that people take the time to read, and/or click links in, is needed for other SEO strategies. That can be hard to get for a penny a word.
