Partnership (to signup or not to signup)

me again... and i still have decided. i'm getting about a 1:350 ratio with about 40 signups per month.

    1) should i do partnership?

    2) can anyone show me their partnership stats (privitely if need be)? i want to see how someone else is doing before i jump into it.

also, lensman, http://nt1.amateurpages.com/p1/login.html says, "Now paying 60% of gross.
That's $15.27 per month net to you!" and it should say 71% and $18.07 per month right??

    also:

    3) is partnership only for amateurpages.com singups? nothing to do with asainamateurpages.com or anything else?

    thx,

Id go partnership to tell you the truth....

I know the rage is per signup and shit but man nuthing and I mean nothing beats Recurrings!! they have defiently come in handy more than once for me!

But then again i also mix it up a bit.... there twos ways of thinking amoungst most webmasters.... Its either fast cash or long term $$$

Now me particular i enjoy a little bit of both.... When im in the mood for some quick cash i send some traffic to some persign up sponsers.... meanwhile im still promoting my paysites and building my recurring income....

          just some thoughts of mine

Mix it up. I use recurring, per-sign up and per-click. Mostly I use per-click to cover my monthly expenses (bandwidth and content). Per sign-up puts cash in my pocket. Recurring is for when I get burned out and need to take two weeks off from everything

what should i do? go a 50-50 split? I'm only getting about 30-50 signups / month... it would suck if all my signups were on the per click side by chance!!!

but is 50-50 a good start?

I recommend recurring all the way. I honestly don't beleive all these per signup programs actually pay you for trials. It wasn't until i went 50/50 partnership i found out how many trial signups per day i was actually getting. How can it be that i send the same amount of traffic to a per signup program, and never get more than 2-3 signups a day..yet i send all that traffic to a partnership program, and some days im getting 10 trials. Both sponsors being equal in the fact that trial signups are the same price. Its alittle sus to me.
Recurring takes a few months to build up, but damn those rebills really add up!

it all depends on what sponsers you use.

no point in using partnership if the trials don't reacur.....i crunch the numbers and always find that i get paid more with persign up..

but basically when it boils down

                  per sign up
                  blind clicks
                  partnerships
                  unique clicks

they all pretty much equal out...

thats how these sponsers come up with their payouts..

                    Playa is absolutley right....

Sponsorship programs are set up so that no matter how you want to get paid it will work out to the same dough in the long run.

Exactly Playa and Elvis. Every situation is different, but in the end, it all works out to the more members you get paying, the more money you make. So rather than trying for weeks to perfectly balance your programs to get the absolute maximum out of each transaction...it's been my experience that to spend that time just growing/scaling your business is much more productive. Yeah, do your best to make the most of all your traffic...but as long you are profitting, build your business twice as big and you'll profit twice as much.

                      Just my $.02 :-)

Interesting, and true. But not true in the sense that i'd be getting paid the same amount of money with a 1:800 ratio, as with my current 1:350 ratio.

so doesn't it makes sense that i should be getting paid TWICE as much money? and wouldn't i get twice as much in per signup? amateur pages has recurring right??? they pay me if someone signs again right?

                          oh, and by the way,

what is the difference between blind click and unique click programs??

With blind link proggies you can link whatever you want whereas unique click proggies generally refer to programs where you have to use pre-approved links.

BTW, AP's text link and banner link programs are 2 of the very few programs left where it is possible to earn more than using a straight per-signup or partnership progam. Most blind link/banner link programs now are designed in such a way that it is impossible to earn more than if you just stuck to partnership or per signup. Of course, if you're convertin better than 1:500 or so with AP, you'd most likely be better off using their partnership.
