Is Europe paradise for teenagers??

I spoke recently with the babysitter of friend of mine. He lives in California and his biggest wish is to go to Europe in holidays. There you can drink beer with 16, smoke hasch legally (in the netherlands), drive with your car as fast as you want (Germany), go to discotheques all night long and have prostitutes everywhere cheap and legally.
so, is Europe paradise for american teenagers???

Just toured around europe about a month ago - and yeah, everything seems so surreal. I totally believe teenagers would find it to be a paradise.

With one exception - the homeless somehow smell americans so we get hit up for money every 8.4 seconds =)

well, in fact i'm frickin' used to all this shit;
- drink beer when you're 13
- drink vodka when you're 14
- visit huge disco's at 15 (just bring a couple of girls and all's fine )
- smoke weed at 16 (i've never done it)
- buy some prostitutes at 17 (i've never done that either )

in fact i don't see any reason for forbidding all this. for instance; look at me, i did it all and i'm still alive, not homeless, doing the highest eduction possible, 10 times richer than the average 18-yrs old, having good relations with my family, and pretty happy too - WOULDN'T EVERYBODY BE PROUD OF ME IN THE USA!?!?

anyway; i always have the idea that the average teenager in europe (holland) is much more happy than in the US... all those low-brain gang members and fat jerry-springer-people prove it, don't they?
