Yea just a little insight, it is really new. Icann released the Egyptian Hieroglyph font for .com unannounced within the year. I was lucky enough to register 20 of the best ones, all animal types, except for this penis (it's extremely unique). I believe some insider got a few of the 'better' animals before me too. I'm missing about 10 of the 30 good ones in total. In all there are ONLY about 30 glphys that make a lick of sense today. Since it's so new, so rare, and I reg'd many of the most desirable ones, there have been no sales to establish a value baseline. I haven't really tried selling any yet, until now.

Emoji type .com domains have been banned from registration for a very long time, so this symbol is extremely rare. Previous sales for symbol domains have gone for xx,xxx recently. Google owns the + sign for google plus, amazon owns the 2 finger peace sign. There are only a handful in existence.

Can you elaborate? Was it just a letter IDN domain, or a symbol emoji? Was it .com? What was the domain...let's put this into a little better context.

I highly doubt you registered a symbol domain in .com. You probably bought some weird letters to try making a word with foreign language. In that case, there is little comparison. "like this"...let's see it then.

It is a tool to get people to click the hyperlink when they see it. The domain can forward to anything. You don't need to build a website on it, or receive typins. Just post the link and people will click it because it's unexpected and unbelievable to most.
