Web business for sale, average monthly revenue of $1,000-$1,200

Hello everyone, I am Dan and have been around these boards since the early 2000?s, although not always active here. I am finally looking at retiring soon and pursuing other interests. I own several different ongoing web businesses that generate income and I am currently interested in selling one of them.


The business that I am offering has been in place since 2009 and generates an average monthly income of between $1,000-$1,200 for the past several years derived from recurring monthly subscriptions, some of which have been in place since the beginning. The income has been reliable long term income that has continued without any marketing on my part whatsoever. I literally do nothing to market or promote this site. I mention this only to imply that if a new buyer came in and understood the business model, applied proper marketing strategies and site monetization, that income stream could most definitely grow larger than what it currently is. I simply do not have time or skill to market, but I will say that the site does NOT rely on traffic for its sales, like the normal adult-related sites. Clients seek it out specifically and you will understand what I mean if you are interested.


I am withholding the name and URL of the site except only to seriously interested parties willing to sign an NDA prior to discussing the details. I do not want the current subscriber base to know about any pending sale, I hope you will understand.


The site grosses between $12,000-$15,000 per year, again without any marketing whatsoever. I currently pay about $210 for hosting and then merchant account fees. Your net income from this site may be better if you own your own server and have better merchant account rates. Some sales are delivered via PayPal as well, but that is a small amount. Site marketing and promotion and other monetization techniques by the right individual(s) could greatly improve those numbers. You would be getting a pre-made income stream at that baseline level.

You would be familiar with SQL
You would have your own host to transfer the site to with SSL certification and FFMPEG
You would have your own merchant account to move the recurring payments to
You must be willing to sign an NDA to engage in conversation about the details


MY OFFERING
Based on an annual metric of a 2.3 multiplier, I am asking $27,400 for the domain, existing clients and income, all programming code and all assets related to the site and its operation. Serious offers only please.


MY RESPONSIBILITIES
If you are serious and want to take a closer look, I will provide the name of the site, the URL, the business model, access to the admin area for verifiable proof of subscribers and all bank statements for the past 12 months proving deposits directly from this business. I will help explain some of the ins and outs of the SQL code, but I am not an expert programmer. I will help (as best as I can) move all assets into your possession, but the final responsibility to set it up and get it working is up to you. From there you can redesign, reprogram and otherwise modify things at your discretion to best suit your vision and ongoing business plan.
