Yes with WordPress a short code snippet can import from any text file in any format no matter the theme. An easy to use example is in the docs.

It's a single user license.

Also, here's a quick video demonstrating adding a site to your directory.
Basically it's a standard WordPress posts with some custom meta fields and the theme does the rest.

-is the header (picture) clickable, so you return to the frontpage?
(it wasn't on your examples, this is normal wp behavior i missed it)
-Is there a possibility for a Footer text with links or a Footer with widgets?
(current example have none, i like to put copyright, maybe terms, contact etc in a footer link, or latest post widget)
-Is there a possibility to have a normal menu, just under the header?
(again normal wp behavior, one might want to ad a blog, contact page etc.)

No it's not clickable but you can make it so. It's a theme template so you can customize anything.

Yes there is space for header and footer widgets for text, links, carousel, whatever you like.

You can move the header menu under the header image. It's a theme template so you can customize anything.

The default theme is rather plain on purpose so people will (hopefully) choose their own colors/fonts/style so each directory is unique and not cookie-cutter. I just liked the Ubuntu font.

By default WordPress checks for updates every 12 hours unless you force a check. Then you should see it on your update page.

It's nice that we can edit the "Site Box Shadows" , but we need this option as well.
I want to disable all that shadow and glowing hover stuff on widget titles, menus and so.
For now, I have to do it with custom css. Plenty of work.

You're right on text shadows: the option tree element doesn't clear those. I'll add that setting.

Also for anyone with the theme: you can contact me direct by clicking the 'Support' button in the Maddos docs, 'Contact Me' on the Maddos sales page, or from WP Admin, General Options->Maddos Support. I check those more often than GFY.
