Experiencing REAL racial discrimination when it came to finding a job

I was head of my class with a perfect 4.0 in business and economics major

It was goddam almost impossible to get a job offer being a white male out of college. I probably did 25 interviews and had 2 offers in total in parts of the country where I didn't want to be. I ended up working for Google in silicon Valley and that was just PURE LUCK.

I remember this one girl in our class who was pretty smart but nothing special, but she was some sort of protected tribe who had over 20 job offers. She would decline at interview and the company would reach out to her and STILL make her a job offer. What in the fuck? Several girls had lots of job offers in NYC, which is where I wanted to work. This one hispanic gangster looking idiot from the Dominican Republic with about a 2.5 GPA and a bullet wound on the top of his head had about 10 job offers. He was a complete dolt!

The whole interview process was a fucking joke. All they looked at was whether you were a girl or guy and whether you were white or a minority. It still pisses me off to this day
