What was your film of the year? For me, so far there hasn't been one worth remembering. A few nice ones but mostly rehashes of a previous story. The Jungle Book probably stands out for the Special Effects and story. A rehash of a previous story.

Force Awakens was 2015 and a rehash of most of the Star Wars movies. How hard is it to move on with a new super weapon, some Space Craft, Daft Wader, etc?

Or does the movie industry think we will keep paying for the same movie over and over again?

Have the Revenant on bluray at home, just haven't had the time to watch it yet. I'm sure to grab a copy of star trek and rogue one at a later time.
