This is fairly general so apologies if their is nothing new/useful learned here...If it`s for a pay based site, avoid anything blind (so pops or skimmed from general adult sites). Targeted clicked (from banners/text ads) will be the more costlier option but should certainly provide you with better quality visitors. English speaking (U.S, UK, Canada, Australia etc) and a few Western European countries always have been the better for converting into sales.

Consider the social platforms (we work with a few clients providing exposure from very busy Twitter accounts and a few other methods). If you would like more information, feel free to contact me.

Good advice but there are uses for blind traffic.

If you're looking for hardlinks I can't help you; but Adnium.com is introducing key-word targeting this week and you'll be able to capture traffic from users searching 'teen' among other things easily.

There are many other targeting options including day-parting, GEO of course, etc.
