my understanding was for resource boom towns, cars were some of the only things people could really spend money on, and they liked their cars.. a lot of it is handed down, from what i saw

Yesterday's car show was at Canal Days in Port Colborne on the shores of Lake Erie.

The park was literally a stone's throw from the lake...close enough to the water to smell fish, seagull shit and ecoli.
