I confirm it took us just a week to sign contract, integrate, test and go live.
This does not mean your developers will be as cool as ours, just, it really can be done in 3 days, from get the API specs to test and going live, if everyone is cool.
We also display a "skype me" button under the models video, only for models who use the plugin. The payout of skype chat is same 50% of tips and groups in site, no difference of payouts if skype or on site.

Unlike what one may expect, not many models have entered their skype in the system, yet. The fear of traditional cam site owners that all customers will add all models in skype and be gone from site paying in paypal and western union, it is unsubstantiated.
At least, I don't see it happening, maybe it will in a year from now?

Those few models who entered the skype in system, caused several (pay) members to try contact them in skype. Members are cool with this, just the models (at least ours) are afraid or waiting, most said "I will try next week", but it is already a week now that we implemented. I can see it may take time, It is a new, different concept.

I think it will be embraced quicker by independent US/CA/AU/UK models. I wished we got more western models. Most of our models are from Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Colombia and working in studios there. Most of models working in studio are forbidden to use skype in first place. Their PCs run even boxed virtual machines, reset daily to factory setup. And, several of the independent models don't want stalkers 24/7 in their skype, they only will login on site on work hours - then when offline from site, don't want to manage any fan begging in cell phone messengers.

Any cam model or cam studios wishing to try to work on the first hybrid traditional free chat + skype plugin site, can register at cam2work - work in cam sites , we pay on paxum, payoneer, bank wire, webmoney and other means every 2 weeks.

By the way TubeCamGirl shows only affiliate pages (is closed) to visitors coming from models countries (russia, ukraine, romania, colombia, philippines etc.), plus I've closed it for a few africa, pakistan, brazil, turkey etc. countries. So guys from there need proxy/vpn to see the girls.

As side note we have an affiliate program, but I don't think GFY is relevant to this anymore
