If you are after quality blog posts (or quality contextual links in general) this one is for you.

After many years of selling root links on my sites and many happy clients, majority of which are still with me since the day I started I now added a blog to my flagship site to be able to offer contextual linking too. On top of it I started offering links from within the reviews as well.

For those who don't know me, the site is a review site. It is established (12+ yrs old), has traffic, has PR5 and good Moz authority and Majestic ranks.

Blog posts:
Posts are shown on root page for 5 days, then they get moved to their category pages which are all linked from the root page. Tagged pages are frequently linked from the root page to ensure they are never more than 1-2 clicks away from the root page. Posts have 200+ words in them. The text is written by my writers to ensure the quality is there, unless you can make sure your text is quality.

Reviews links:
To me they are content pages just like blogs, only richer, so why not offer links in them as well. If I link out, I link out. I haven't seen any review site doing that, so this opens up an opportunity for those who have sites/pages that target specific paysites. Reviews range from 400 to 800 words. Despite the length of reviews being 2-4 times bigger than blog posts I will only sell 1 link per review (and it will be posted in the top paragraph). After reviews get moved from the root page they are just as blog posts never more than 1-2 clicks away from the root page.

Root page links:
The flaship site is full. The other two sites of mine however still have root page spots available. They have less traffic but still aprox the same SEO metrics.

Now first, I won't link to spammy, low quality sites. They can have little content but it better be quality. I won't do sitewide linking where all links point to 1 url on your site. I will allow a site to have multiple links posted (yet the number is still limited) where each link is posted in a separate post/review and it points to a different url on your site and these will be drip fed so they look like regular new links to a quality resource.
