Liberals and conservatives are not so different, but I think at least some of conservatives know that resources are scarce and we don't live in Garden of Eden. In my country, when I see conservative farmers begging for subsidies and trade tariffs (so we can buy our milk from our cows etc.), makes no economic difference to me and that's most important.
