Its a miracle, Godaddy stopped sending me emails

I am no longer getting emails from Godaddy, no renewals, order confirmations, etc.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 8 characters.

I think if you once ordered a backorder on a domain, usually you will get updates on it until the service runs out

They have started calling me now. No joke, they are calling regarding "upcoming renewals". When I called their customer service, they said they were just "reminding me" of my renewals since I have my domains on Manually Renew instead of Auto Renew.

Guess they were worried I was transferring 1000+ domains out. I'm a small fish, can you imagine the number of calls you would get if someone had 100,000 domains up for renewal?

If these are going to a gmail account, check the filters. When someone hacks your gmail they'll setup filters so you don't notice all the password resets at Godaddy/paypal/etc or notice the transfer requests when they steal domains.

Might not be anything to freak out about, but I'd check just in case.

Its so annoying when they do call, but they act like they are doing you a huge favor since your a VIP customer. Always asking for a cc so they can bill out since I keep everything manual renew. It has been a while but I explain to them I let domains expire if they dont generate traffic and replace with new ones as they become available.

I was thinking about calling them and asking about this issue, but the thought of calling godaddy and dealing with them trying to sell me something is like visiting the dentists office.

                      here is an update guys...

I called godaddy and they said that both yahoo and AOL email has changed their filters to remove godaddy emails automatically since it looks like spam since their system is also on auto pilot.

they said they are going to fix the problem, but for now use an alternative email.

Never understood all the complaints about godaddy emails. I get the bullshit from all the other registrars. Godaddy has always only sent email to remind me of upcoming expirations.
