Need ideas for promoting child protection program

Google ads, facebook ads, all a bunch of junk. I finally found a way to get some cheap hits from google but they're not targeted and they suck. Spent $120 total and got one lead and one phone call. (Was only about 200 hits because I was paying too much per click in the beginning) If one of those pops I'll profit $20. Terms that are worth bidding a dollar or two a click (say "enroll in xxxx" or "how to sign up for xxx" and "xxx sign up page" are the dreaded "low search volume". Pfffft.

I'm thinking newspaper inserts and all of that. Not really ready to sell it face to face, though. I didn't do too great on the phone, but in fairness to me the guy didn't speak english too well

Tried some seo, but I completely suck at it. I had electronically trascribed some youtube videos but had spaces in the names .. so google crawled my site and left those out .. I am a mighty PR1 now YAY .. least I am indexed .. took the %20s out, maybe it'll index those transcription pages

How can I get people to link to me so I can get some relevancy in terms of google rankings?? What do you, do you really just e-mail people? Is trading links useless now?

Maybe having some Indians write articles would work for me, but I'd like to have some juice first so they actually rank nicely

If this is some type of child protection system or similar(I vaguely remember you posting something) I don't see a problem getting ranked well in google for that area.

Did you look into wordpress and read the google starter guide(by google)?

Or let me in and pay me per lead if there is a substantial market.

A lot of people who use to be affiliates are ranking real well.. and sites where you look for missing kids, instead of preventing them from being missing.. then you end up at a 404.. it's a little frustating ..

I can't afford to pay by the lead, but I'll of course give you a fat cut of commissions from leads you have

I thought if it worked, I could have the transcriptions done for real.. Bring attention to missing cases, which is good, and let people know about the program at the same time

Seriously though, get a keyword rich domain and use wordpress either as main site or to feed your current one.

Thanks, I don't know what wordpress is.. It's something about blogging, right? I don't know anything about blogging, either ... I've definitely read that keyword rich domains still make the difference. . . But does the no age thing hurt you??

You'll be sandboxed for the first months i.e. artificially kept down by google in the results.

Wordpress can be used for anything. And it is easy to grasp.

If you are cornering that type of market you might also offer some kind of tracking/gps type of thingy while you have related niche visitors.

That is one I am a little confused about.. the program talks about potential danger, because someone might hurt a child getting rid of the gps, but then they have a cross sale for it on the join page . . It would make an excellent cross item for sure . . And I don't think that someone would have to hurt the child to remove most of them . . But I also have read that it can throw an investigation off if they remove it and put it in a truck or something
