Looking to sell redirect traffic from HIGH traffic domain 15K + visits per day

    Hello,

I am in the process of leasing a domain that generates 450,000 - 500,000 visits a month and at the moment I do not need all the traffic from this domain name. I honestly don't think my server could handle that traffic yet plus I'd like to help cover the monthly cost of leasing this domain name.

A friend of mine is currently leasing it and does not plan to renew it this month so I am. He has been mainly using it to redirect to adult sites and the other day he tested with Fling and had 250+ free sign ups, I don't know what the conversion to pay was like.

Each day of redirecting the traffic to your site will get you 15,000 plus visitors so make sure your server can handle this!

I will reveal the domain to you once the payment has been received, the instant you see the domain you will understand why it gets so much traffic.

To lease the domain per day from me will cost $500

If you would like a package deal let me know. I will accept payment via paypal or if you prefer another method just let me know.

I'd also like to add that he has been redirecting to a TUBE style site and the traffic numbers to the site are insane. Prior to redirecting the site was averaging 10 - 15 new members, after redirecting the site is receiving 50 + new members a day.

Sorry I am new to selling traffic and I figured 15,000 plus visitors for $500. What is the average industry rate, would you know? I don't mind adjusting if I made an error in pricing.

That's crap to own a server that is not able to receive 500,000 visits a month.

Please stay on topic but the server is already getting extensive traffic and adding this additional traffic might not be good for it.

I see that my asking price is out of whack after looking around, I am going to review this further and come up with a different method however if any one is interested in a package deal let me know and feel free to make me reasonable offers.

There are not many domain names that in themselves would bring in this type of traffic. This domain is out for lease every now and then, because no one seems to be able to monetize it to justify the cost.

The domain name is most probably "oogle.com" and it has been offered here on GFY before, use the search function but some previous threads can be found here:
                      http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=...ight=oogle.com

                      also offered here:
                      http://www.dnforum.com/f116/domain-l...ad-431220.html

                      and here:
                      http://www.dnforum.com/f116/domain-l...ad-428326.html

I could be wrong, but the traffic mentioned seems about right and the domain is being offered from time to time all over the place.

Funny how this thread became awfully quite once the domain and its previous history was revealed...
