I Need A New Host. Who Wants My Business.
 

I have a server at The Planet and I'm completely tired of their bullshit and inept support.

My server has been failing about once a week for the past month and I've sent them repeated tickets. They have fun fdisk on it a couple of times and the response was always the same. It's fine. Nothings wrong. The failures weren't always the same. They never took the initiative to find out what was causing the problem...etc...

Today they finally admitted that the hard drive was potentially going to fail and expect me to handle all the backup and restore. Using EVAULT and local backup...blah blah....half written instructions from one department, bullshit from another. No real full process explanation or not even an offer to handle it for me. Of course they were more than happy to tell me it was my fault and my responsibility and that I could pay advanced services 8,000 dollars to do it.

My bandwith is 13TB per month I think.

I'm looking for managed support as well. I'm tired of these fucksticks and their unmanaged support. Even if it remotely falls half a micron over the line...they won't do shit.

Please give me quotes on your hosting services. I am currently doing the EVAULT backup. I would like my new hoster to handle transfering my domains. Most likely through the CPANEL transfer. I don't want to have to dick with this process. I simply want to give you my server logins and have you transfer my shit. I prefer cpanel so my software paths don't have to change.

Spam me your prices, services, deals..

Regular posters..if you have somebody you recommend...feel free to add them or do a write up of your service with them. I want somebody who gives a shit about taking care of me as a customer...and not just raping me out of my money...I've had enough of that.

I have been hosting at Dedico for the past year and I can assure you its a top notch hosting..

Id listen to what offer you could get at dedico along with your offers.. Get 3 offfers and sit down and decide. But Id be sure to get a quote from dedico as one of your three.

Go with Dedico... I've been through at least a dozen hosts and these guys are absolutely the best around. I know a few others moving to Dedico as well.

By far the most knowledgeable and responsive staff out there. I've never had a ticket go more than 4 minutes without a response and I'm not even exaggerating at all...

In addition, I get what I pay for... I only have one dedicated box but I get the full bandwidth allotted... no BS throttled below your limit or hardware capped because your host doesn't know how to route a facility correctly or are putting too many clients through a switch, etc...

Trust me, you'll be very happy :)

cpanel has a pretty easy backup. I'll be honest most of my better hosts use direct admin not cpanel. Mojo is a great host they do all that stuff for you no admin panel there. xxxhostit might have cpanel as an option but I'm on direct admin there. they have some good deals for 10 MBPS servers.
