What do you want in an RSS feed?

We are developing brand new celeb feeds and I want to make sure we get it right. If you are in need of such feeds please let me know specifically what requirements you have. We have the best content hands down, I just need your help to package and deliver it in the most effective manner.

Have you looked at the morphing feeds setup its pretty nice and lets the webmaster customize it for their needs such as link goes to FHG/Tour/Join, 10/20/30/50 posts per feed, select from multiple picture sizes etc.. i think what most webmasters put first priority on is the text, atleast 75 words i would say is pretty good more the better

Personally, I would like to see at least an image, as large as or larger than one from a gallery. I would also like to see some sales text 100-300 words , and morphing would be fantastic.

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I'd like to know what you are referring to.

And some hyperlinked "call to action" text at the bottom, many sponsor feeds miss that, thinking that just having the picture linked is enough!

Everything as usually:
1) Rich morphing content (both text and pictures).
2) Quality pictures or embedded video content with fixed width of 450 pixels.
3) Regular updates (once a day is best).
4) Many detailed sub-niches.

That's all.

1. NO morphing feeds.
2. regular updates. (doesn't need to be daily, but pls keep them alive... most sponsors abandon them after after a couple of weeks or months)
3. lots of text.
4. image link.
5. Some sponsors think it's clever to use the same feed over and over again and only change the dates of the posts. Please, don't make that mistake.
6. Since you're talking about celeb feeds, might wanna add a <celebname> field to the feed.

Thanks for the input. Any more?

Sit down with the person who codes these things for you and make it as customizable as possible. I mean EVERYTHING even remotely reasonable, including if it doesn't seem to fully make sense to allow it. Then document the options by adding a link stating "advanced options help". Chances are that someone will make use of it. Options are good. :)
