If it's available in Hong Kong or Europe or pretty much any other country...it'll be at least 5 years before the U.S. gets it. You have to remember we are the most advanced country in the world. We're number one in everything! At least that's what I've been told all my life...lol

A city 10 minutes from my city have wimax internet for years and it kick ass,but for some odd reason country never allowed them to offer their service beyond that region(and that make it unavailable in my city).Probably beacuse so they can protect monopoly of main isp.

They have it in NYC. It does get quite pricey though.

We have WIMAX here in Moscow for a rather long time and yes, I can watch live TV and movies on my HTC 4G MAX anywhere and anytime. Unlimited 4G internet connection costs about $15 a month, live TV, video and music libraries are free and available even w/o internet connection.
