So i used Payoneer to make order in euros..

Exchange rate was 1.36 while its actually 1.324, so it's cost me about 2.7%. They robbing me like paypal.

now im going to ATM first time and i'm scared that it will be even more.

Will make test with paxum card by ordering online + ATM withdrawal and we will see which one is better for non US webmasters.

Or if you already tested paxum please post results here.

Epass was the same man.
Paypal is worse than all of them.
I bet paxum is the same as for the exchange rate. Havent tested that yet, waiting on my card.
Going for my first payoneer atm withdrawal today.

i like euros

BlackCrayon 11-27-2010 08:04 AM

even credit cards do it.

EMC2 I-payout lets you have a card in euro, so if you live in eurozone, i would suggest trying that out.

But if you're being paid in USD then what does that EMC2 charge to convert to EURO?

thats why you pick credit cards that charge currency exchanges via official MC/VISA rates. 99% of credit cards in my country charge exchanges via the issuing bank rates which is straight raping. Even better if you have CC and its default exchange currency is EUR, then you get double-raped (notice im talking about EU country, which doesnt use EUR).

I bet 3/4 of webmasters dont even bother checking that shit out.

Yes, because the internet published exchange rate ( except the onea at your actual bank ) is in fact for huge sums of money ... and that bank use it as a profit center.

andrej_NDC 11-27-2010 03:11 PM

Wasn't epass like 5%? I remember they used crazy conversion rates and from what I remember way higher than 2.7%.

Paxum rates:

ATM withdrawal = $2 USD fee and that's it, worldwide.

We do not add anything to the Forex fee ourselves, so you are only charged what the bank/machine would charge you for the exchange rate. This seems to average about 1% on top of the regular exchange rate from what I've seen posted by clients.

klinton 11-27-2010 04:06 PM

well i think that payoneer has standard mastercard rate just like paxum....

Those currency conversion rates suck. Paypal is pretty damn bad.
