Looking for stats and numbers about the adult industry

Anyone know a good source for numbers and stats about the adult induestry. Does not have to be internet specific. I know AVN had some in the past, but I canīt find them anywhere.

Yes, I know most of those numbers are bs, I still need them for some mainstream people.

I just typed your topic into Google and got this as the first result:

A little out of date. Don't know if its any help.

Thanks Garce. I have found that one, but the numbers are all 4-5 years old.

I hardly doubt you're going to find recent much less accurate stats - the boards are saying we're dead - those that are making money aren't really saying much to anyone

anyone else?

Don't think you'll find anything very accurate.

That first link was completely made up bullshit that some guy pulled out of his ass to use as linkbait to sell filtering software. "In reality, statistics are hard to ascertain and may be estimated..."

There simply aren't any decent adult industry stats. They don't exist.

Also, I no longer have the link, but if I recall properly, the AVN "numbers" weren't numbers either, they were a guess by the editor of Adult Video News. Basically he (an informed guy) pulled a big number out of his ass, and it sounded plausible, and for a couple of years that became the go-to number for the size of the U.S. adult business. But he didn't have any data, it was just his hunch, albeit a pretty plausible-sounding one.
