Anybody interested in Licensing Twistys Content?

We've been throwing around the idea of licensing out some of our exclusive Twistys content. If we did it we'd only sell to a few people so it would be semi-exclusive. If you are interested let me know. We have one of the largest exclusive content libraries in the business.

Barefootsies 11-26-2010 02:30 PM

I am sure some people will be snapping it up like a mofo. Top notch!
:thumbsup

Thurbs 11-26-2010 02:35 PM

hmmm ... would be interesting , I'd be interested in hearing more.

MaDalton 11-26-2010 02:42 PM

I think that a LOT of people will be all over this. Twistys has superb content.

$tandaman 11-26-2010 02:55 PM

Shap hit me up to talk it over.

Another sign O' the Times: BROgrams selling off their ass-ets (or "licensing" them), a la Governors selling off thier highways to the Japanese and Russians.

Good move Shap, don't get me wrong here. If I were sitting on ass-ets (I just like spelling 'assets' that way, with the dash; makes it more porn-y) then I'D be doing the same. Thing is, you're obviously not worried about diluting the Twisty's brand since every brand is "dilluted" these days, yes? So: smart move for Twistys, to me it's another sad sign of the desperation this Industry is in.

Good luck tho!!

LOL I have 1500 unused Exclusive video scenes on Twistys. I was just looking over all our shit and thinking hmm maybe I should license some of it and break in a few extra $$$ here and there.

MaDalton 11-26-2010 03:48 PM

btw, Shap, even exclusive licenses can have restrictions, make sure your producers are ok with reselling. we for example always precluded that.

LOL I know man - this is what I'm saying! Damn, I wish I could just go through my vaults when I needed an extry $100,000.

I know! THIS will pay for your Attorney's fees and your ePassports lawsuit! I swear man, Shap is fucking brilliant. :)

(BTW: I'm a total whore; if I were the Governor of Arkansas or some such God-awful State, I'd be selling off every fucking park bench. LOL)

you guys create the most amazing content in the biz .. thats a fact .. and now you know you have a market for your content so why not take the photographers you have on staff and create your own content company and leave the stuff you have at twistys alone ?

Nathan 11-26-2010 09:50 PM

Shap, eMail me... might be interested.

because producing NEW stuff cost money and probably more money than can be generated by a shrinking handful of web companies that can buy enough scenes to justify it...hence selling shit that's already produced and has made money time and time again...welcome to 2007 when I started selling my affiliate program content while making sales from surfers...people called me Crazy..since exclusivity of the content meant EVERYTHING..well Im here to tell ya...it don't mean shit.

sell the fuck outta that content man..get more cake from it

BIGTYMER 11-26-2010 10:19 PM

Did the Capri issue boost sales?

Supz 11-26-2010 10:40 PM

I think the questions is, who wouldn't want to...

I would say so.:1orglaugh

Paul Markham 11-27-2010 02:15 AM

Shap, why not try selling it to magazines or DVD companies.

DVD is a tough sale with solo girl content, but magazines are open to you.

There's still a small magazine market left and it pays a lot better than licensing to websites will. AND no saturation on the Internet, unless it's licensed to someone with big Internet sites.

Quoted for the truth.

Unless it's some micro niche a surfer can visit all the sites in a year. Or the content seller makes so much money out of it he doesn't give a shit.

Saturation of content = Saturation on TGP sites.

gideongallery 11-27-2010 02:53 AM

bit of advice hold on to your content, your company is one of the best positions for the marketing shift. The new version of exclusive liciencing will make you way more money than the cash you will get from going semi-exclusive. cross that bridge now and you will be throwing away a lot of money in the future.

Magazines are going to license 400 sets at once?

stocktrader23 11-27-2010 03:47 AM

Oh, and only if you give me permission to open up http://www.twistysforless.com and copy your layout. ;)

Not likely unless the price is very very good.

But they will buy and pay a lot more than licensing on the Internet.

And it doesn't have any real effect with the Internet.

Also there's more than one magazine out there.

That's a good point. How many will think of setting up a site in direct competition to Twistys with this content?

seeandsee 11-27-2010 06:24 AM

some might even do that, but they pay on publication. so you get the money over the next 20 years :winkwink:

if they still exist at that point - which is highly doubtful
