Is it possible for a site to survive on photo content alone these days? Without video of any kind? Or did that model die off completely in the 90s?

I am a photo guy. I prefer them over videos most of the time.

The question is, can you sell a site that is photos only. I would say yes IF the tour was not full of large images and you limited your FHG and carefully selected the images.

They say an image speaks a thousand words...

given not much is said in a video beside grunting, a tasty photo will easily win over a video any day :thumbsup

It's possible, I believe. Imagine a popular model like Faith Nelson or whatever running a photo-only site. People would still sign up.

Do you know the model Denise Milani? In case you can get her nude people will pay for her images for sure, no need for a video or anything.

If softcore only sites can sell, photo only sites can sell too.

But, unless its something exceptional, its not gonna be enough to run a good affiliate program with the site I am afraid.

No one under 35 pays for porn
Guys over 40 pay for porn
Guys over 40 were raised on Playboy, Penthouse and Hustler
Guys over 40 have longer attention spans and like to LOOOOOOOOOOOK at a photo, and fantasize.
We sell Fantasy.

SO:
IF you have over-40, MILF-type traffic then go for it. Lots of tube traffic and it's a waste of time. Blog traffic good, TGP traffic good, cam/dating traffic not so much.

I'm running an all non-nude photo only site at the moment for a local girl. Doing pretty good with low traffic so far.

I'm a photo guy too. I don't want to wait to watch a video; I want to instantly see a picture.

Even threads with Youtube videos in them. I tend to skip them. I just hit one with a new movie and I had to wait for the video to load a dozen times.
