How do I mass-check for dead links/sites
 

I have two adult directories in need of massive house cleaning - I suppose that by now at least 1/3 of the listed sites are dead.

Is there a tool/software that I can use to check what sites are gone? And (probably asking too much here) sorting out the ones that are parked domains now?

I use Xenu Link Sleuth from time to time, although I don't know how it would react to parked pages. It will however tell you all of the dead links.
