I've been trying to tell my wife that

It's like saying there are 2 sides to the door. There is the inside of the door and there is also the outside of the door. Both sides have their benefits and drawbacks. You can even put a dialogue in the form of a Play. Example:

Play name: A Tale of Two Doors - 2 Scenes

Scene 1: The Private Room: Fatfoo and loreen

[Enter Fatfoo]

FATFOO: Hello loreen, it is sure great to be inside this room.
LOREEN: Yes. I like to call this my private room. I can decide who to let inside and who to keep out.
FATFOO: That's great. I will be back later.

[Exit Fatfoo]
[loreen rubs one leg on another]

Scene 2: The Lobby: Fatfoo, U-bob, bossku69

[Enter Fatfoo]

FATFOO: Hello, everyone. I do say, this is a great lobby.
U-BOB: I agree. My friend bossku69 is coming soon.

[Enter bossku69]

BOSSKU69: Hello Fatfoo and U-bob. I like this room. We can have a conversation between three people. We can even invite more people to all talk together.

FATFOO: I agree.
U-BOB: I agree.

No reason. I just thought it helps a person to receive a chart of the building they are inside. However, web sites are not buildings. Web sites don't have walls or doors. Internet is telecommunications.

Scene 1 - The Streets

Man #1: I travel quickly with the winds today. I have great airs.
Man #2: This is true. Others may follow you with your winds.
Man #1: You are a hilarious Yes-man. You're more fun than a Y-bird. Follow me.
Man #2: I will call Man #3. He will walk with us soon.

Scene 2 - A house

Woman #1: I have been spying on Man #1 for a long time. I think I will go within a few feet to him soon.
Woman #2: You say you can read his mind, but you can't read his feet that walk or hands that touch.
Woman #3: Both of you know nothing of minds. Your haircuts are inferior.
