Dude... this is rediculous..... I talked to ibill... the customer support monkey told me that all he could do is fill out a tech ticket...... This is rediculous...

DirkPitt 01-14-2003 12:33 PM

my site took about 20 seconds to load with DSL

evo_t 01-14-2003 12:56 PM

It usually takes about 20 seconds from here, however last year they went through a period where the last bit of the join page took forever to load and I know lots of potential sales backed out because they thought it was an unsecure page.:disgust

Shoplifter 01-14-2003 01:56 PM

Something is up...But I don't know if it is load times. I am experience a spike downwards today with Ibill SU's.

Guys

Ibill are changing their IP's today - we got word from our customer support rep.

Might have something to do with that

IP News Information for Clients
Dear Clients,
We will be making some network infrastructure improvements and will be moving one of our data centers throughout the week of January 14th, 2003. As our network will be undergoing some changes, there are some key points that you should know as they may affect your ability to properly communicate with iBill.
If you currently allow iBill IP addresses through your firewall or router, you will need to add some additional IP addresses to work with our relocated systems.
Also, if you are currently initiating connections to iBill using an IP address [12.8.9.40 for example] instead of a name [secure.ibill.com, cmi.ibill.com, etc], then this would be a good time to update your configuration to access iBill by name instead of IP address. Accessing iBill by name gives you the additional speed and performance of the Akamai edge network.
The new IP addresses are as follows:
o 208.62.228.0/24 [208.62.228.1 - 208.62.228.255]
o 208.62.229.0/24 [208.62.229.1 - 208.62.229.255]
o 208.62.230.0/24 [208.62.230.1 - 208.62.230.255]
If you have any questions, please contact [email protected] or call Client Services at (800)764-4266.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi All,

Sorry you are having continued trouble with your processor. Please call us to discuss your need and options. We move merchants from Bill and other companies every day.... and they do not go back.

No setup fee for GFYers or anyone switching from other companies.

How does 3.25% and 40¢ sound for check processing fees? Our credit card processing options put you in full control and save you approximately 50% over most other IPSPs as well.

We would love to show you around.

Toll Free within the US: (888)357-8166
Outside the US: (661)252-2456

Thank you, Mitch Farber

My rep was cool as hell with me when i made 10 bucks a day and she continues to be really nice to me .

LocalG,

There is nothing sad about it. We take pride in soliciting business and do so professionally. What is really sad is that you have to be reading this thread in the first place. Come on over.... yopu will be thanking me tomorrow if you do today.

Its called professional courtesy...have you heard of it...

Second off i am what is called a loyal customer. I flew down to there office last week and got a tour and had some eats.. really actually nice group of people . seems like they are going through alot of changes and exspansion. Me personaly ill deal with some of the problems knowing that they make there system better. I dont jump ship just becuase a co. has a few bumps in the road. but i also would not go with a company like yours who always jumps on a companies back when they have problems. id personaly move to epoch or ccbill .. they seem to have alittle more taste full way of promoting there products.

peace
localG
no disrespect i just dont dig your tactics.

NETbilling 01-14-2003 09:12 PM

localG,

I meant no disrespect either. Ibill is having more than just a few "bumps". They have had serious problems for over a year now. We work everyday with frustrated Ibill customer who are switching over and it actually bothers me the way they have treated their webmasters for a long time now. I have no problem with any of the other companies out there and many are my friends. It just kills me to see the way you guys are treated but continue to stand by all of the broken promises.
True, we do get a fair amount of business from these posts so it is beneficial to us to continue to post and I spend alot if time answering questions on the boards as well, which are not for monetary reasons... they are to help the webmasters.

Sorry if you were offended.

Peace....
Mitch

You'd have to be nuts to still be with IBill after all the shit they've been pulling.. Especially after that huge stock price fall - can't you read the writing on the wall?

I remember a year ago there were some pretty vocal IBill supporters here.. At least 2 I know of have bailed, and others perhaps wishing they could.

Cheers,
Backov

necoeds 01-14-2003 09:24 PM

Ibill hasn't fucked me over much...... Just a little late once.....

Today was the first time they've really fucked me, i've had less su's with them today, than any day since almost a year ago...
