10 blogs success story suggestions

Say, there is a 10 niched blogs updated daily. And there is a need to make like 1k off them a month, what's the average traffic need to make it?

Tempest 11-24-2010 02:25 AM

Let's say...

- $1000 / month / 10 sites = $100 / month per site
- $25 per sale = 4 sales / month / site
- 1:300 conversion (if it's good niches etc.) = 1,200 clicks to paysite per month
- let's say average click thru from blog to paysite = 10% (if you're good at motivating them and aren't sending them to FHGs which would add another level of click thrus) so 12,000 needed which = roughly 400 per day for each site.

And i think it would take about 3 months to get that kind of traffic at least, correct?

This is not a bad lay-out. I'd move the PPS to $35 to be able to do ~1:400 ratio instead though.

From my own experience of new blogs It is not impossible at all to get 3-4 sales per month from a ~500 a day blog.

I used to have a MILF one, brought me 1 sale a week with 300-500 daily visits.

You already have some experience with blogging why don't you scale up the things that worked for you.

Good question. After doing what I did I figured out that webmastering its another full time job, and its hard to combine with web designers full time job. More, I was kinda stuck and didn't know how to increase traffic to my blog.

Having 500-600 visitors per blog it's a good number. After 6 months of regular posting you don't need to post every day on your blog. If you want 5000 visits per day it's much more easy to open 10 from those blogs who give 500 per day rather than to build one that will give you 5000.

Thanks for adding this up, mate. So its better to play numbers game blogs wise not traffic per blog. I thought i would be able to avoid running tons of them :)

I run many of them, like previous poster said It's much easier to get 10 blogs to 500 than 1 to 5000. At least for me It seems to be that way.
