We bought one for our office and for development. It's just an android with wifi capabilities that connects to your TV. I might get one personally as well.
Here's our Tech Team's review of it after creating our PinkVisual.TV http://www.pinkvisual.com/index.php?...85&revid=12508 |
DamianJ has one, he received one free when setting up a publisher's account for BeerPorn :thumbsup

Does anyone have an opinion on the effect internet connected tvs will bave on how people surf for porn, and the consequences for SEO?

especially when you consider the fact that i can load windows media center on a more expensive box, and this streaming will see the box as nothing more than any other pc when it shows the shit on my tv. |
Are the major networks still blocking them?
Honestly I don't see an incentive for the networks to work with Google. All the new TVs, even the cheap ones have access to apps. The networks can make an app for a few bucks to stream their shows and keep all the revenue instead of sharing it with Google or anyone else. |
