I make a few different curry dishes and we eat one at least once per week.
Curry isn't that big here in the states, even though it's tasty as all hell. |
I love it, chicken vindaloo is one of my favorite indian dishes :thumbsup

...and the ultimate taste of Curry: RiffRaff! Haha! Beat this wall of Youtube! |
There are so many great and delicious varieties of curry - Indian, Thai, Japanese, Middle-Eastern.
I'm a medium to mild kinda guy, especially when it comes to Thai curry... :) http://www.leedsstudent.org/wp-conte...0/SOCmouth.jpg http://img.kyon.pl/static/img/remiq.net_402.jpg ADG |
Had a panang chicken curry here in Scottsdale last night. It was pretty good, I hadn't really had a curry with both coconut milk and potato in before.
Love all curry pretty much. |
Indian Curry is the only one that does it for me, the rest appear mild after eating my favourite, a beef vindaloo. Chicken Jalfrezi is also another one which is good with beer or red wine.
|
Love the spiciness of the vindaloo, but I think I'll go for a more conservative madras or something the next time around... took me about an hour to finish with a basket of naan and some steamed rice. Indigestion kicking in...

I like it with chicken and rice :)
|
I like it so hot my lips are still buzzing half an hour after it. I used to goad the chef at a small place I used to frequent often and tell him to do his worse and stop pussying around.

Only reason to eat curry is to clear blocked sinuses.
|
I love curry! In fact, the last two days I have made curry-dinners. Today will be a french stu variant with curry and garlic. Gonna be great :)

Indian food looks like shit, but I do love it!
|
I would be happy to try a milder one.. but I breath fire and leak sweat at the lightest touch of heat. Probably would need a tall glass of milk on the side.
|
you people like curry so much that you even know the names? youre all fucking experts.
I like it, but only when Im in the mood for it. And I call it curry, plainly as that. If I need to specify, I call it yellow curry, that's the extent of it. |

I fucking love curry.
|
I love thai curry, especially yellow curry (about a 6 on the 1-10 spice scale...enough to break a good sweat but not so hot that it punished my ass for an hour afterwards)
|
what kind of question is this? i practically live on the stuff.
|
Nothing like a good raging hot curry from time to time to clean out your pipes.
Last time I had it I made it myself, I swear steam came out my ears. |
I still can't taste many foods after a ridiculous Bangalore I had last Thursday.
|
I absolutely love curries
|
I make curry or tofu korma or butter chicken at least a few times a month. Indian food is awesome.

anyone who is looking for a great book of curry recipes, try:
The Curry Secret: Indian Restaurant Cookery at Home by Kris Dhillon its only a paperback, so it won't cost much and it shows how to make authentic british style indian restuarant curries. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Curry-Secret...0455484&sr=8-1 |
I am addicted to Punjabi food. The ones that are called 'dhabas', they provide awesome butter nan.
|
I loved curries. Indian, Chinese and especially Thai.
A tip, if it's too spicy sprinkle sugar on it. It calms down the burning. Sadly can't eat it now as my mouth is still too sensitive from the radiation. Hopefully will be able to tackle one again next year. :) |
