According to The Hollywood Reporter, Inferno director Matthew Wilder has officially severed ties with Lohan. The news comes less than two months after producers originally claimed they?d wait for her, but with another stop in a sober living facility and no clear end on the horizon, Lohan left the director with little choice in the matter.

No word yet on who might step in to portray the Deep Throat star, but those involved are reportedly in negotiations with another actress already.

What a shame. For all her sketchy behavior, Lohan is actually an above-average actress who, with the right material, could have blossomed into a bankable and respectable star. Guess now she?s free to hit up happy hours across greater Los Angeles.

Good, I don't know why but this girl bugs the fuck out of me. If she passed away tomorrow I'd dance in her grave. I'm still pissed the e trade folks caved and paid her money for that superbowl commercial.

This is good news. A couple more years and I'll be able to tap that ass to the tune of $300/hour. :thumbsup

Actually, this might not be a bad thing for her. She tries to film a movie while still dealing with her addictions, and she very likely will slip up again. If she disappears for awhile, like a year or more, and focuses on getting herself cleaned up and her life straightened out, she could very well have a real comeback in movies. Right now, every move she makes all people are talking about is her problems. If she re-emerges in a few years, people will be more like, "oh, she had problems years ago, but she took time out and has been clean for xx amount of time." It'll be less of an uphill battle for her if she steps away from the limelight now.

Edit: Though I must admit I'd love to see her doing porn!

Sure am glad they are cleaning up the "riff raff" actors portraying someone in the adult business - we need a morally and ethically superior actress playing a porn star so we don't get misjudged

So the Lohan camp says she wasn't dropped from the film; she withdrew herself to focus on rehab.
