Accepting credit card payments without insane fees
 

So we experienced a lockdown of paypal account. They pulled their nasty BS bureaucratic move which once done it's done. One of their underpaid risk dept idiots thought he has more power than brains. The usual anyway so I don't go into details.

We could open a new paypal account, but why bother getting a new credit card and risk of getting the shit frozen again since these schmucks are so unpredictable and have very poor support.

Now we need a replacement that takes credit cards for payment and doesn't require a customer to have an account with them. We could use Paxum in adult, but then we need a mainstream alternative as well.

Which would you recommend?

And google checkout actually has a support personnel and say a ticketing system where one can follow a support thread from start to end of the problem?
