New Macbook Air 11": SWEET
 

Typing from my 11" Macbook Air. Nice and light. 4 hour battery life and then some. plenty powerful. 64GB SSD drive makes loading a quick thing. External drive for music/videos/etc. less than 3 lbs. fits in portfolio. very very NICE. $999 model.

I was just playin with them on tuesday in the apple store. They friggin nailed it with this model. Although they could have gone with a higher proc. I would have sold my macbook day-of had these air's had 2+ procs.

played with one tonight as well, so thin, i could hide it under my shirt.

still havent gone into the mac world yet, i may eventaully get either an imac 27", mac book air, or macbook pro, havent decided

hmmm. i might need to purchase this. Anyone where i can get online and shipped to thailand?

pros suck right now. for $200 upgrade the macbook >= macbook pro. always buy apple products right when they launch the new line. now is the time to buy the air, 12 months ago was the time to buy the macbooks, 6 months ago the imacs. the pros should be getting an update very soon, so if you want a laptop - buy the air or wait for the pro.

MBP upgrades will be early 2011 no doubt. I have a lot of Apple gear, but still use Windows for gaming. Work/Internet/Multimedia is all Apple/UNIX more reliable no spyware/virus/OS slowdown/Registry issues + Steve Ballmer is a douche.

I got the 27" quad core 2.8GHz i7 last December (released late November) and well, it's still top of the line - the built to order i7 today has only had a speed bump to 2.93Ghz... iMacs revision was last november :winkwink:

but yes, you're right - never buy a mac that hasn't had a major revision in the last 12-18 months
