Productivity tip [iPad owners]
 

Wow. Just doing some wireframing for a new site and found SketchyPad.

It's brilliant.

Best productivity tip: use the power button to turn the iPad off.

Yup. Then find some paper and a pen, sketch the layouts, then get your scanner, and realise you've lost the lead. Find the lead. Plug it in. Try and scan, realise that you have to put the scanner software on there as you hardly every use it, then scan the image, then tidy it up in PS, then email to client.

Or, use sketchypad, make your sketch, send it to client.

Nice app... good in a pinch if you're not traveling heavier. Still need to jailbreak the ipad to get that mouse working, though. Still haven't gotten around to that.

That's just the demo, you obviously just use your finger with the app. No jailbreaking.

I've been using it all day now, and I think it is STUNNINGLY good.

personally on my iPad i like to go to http://chalk.37signals.com for their virtual chalk board

Hmmm... dunno why, but it just looks like it wouldn't have such easy functionality using stumpy digits.

there is a large number of ipad stylus' out there.
i personally have the pogo which i use for signing documents as its much easier to get my signature with a stylus than with my finger.
but there are some great ones out there, i love the one made by candy, and boxwave has a good one.

I tried to Play that video on my iPad and ironically enough THE format is not supported lol

Good call... there's one floating around the office here that I've used before. That might do the trick!
